Referring others makes you an affiliate. You get 10% (roughly one dollar) for every friend that signs up for an Elegant+ membership. You get paid again every month they remain a member.

Before you start
An affiliate program is where a business (us) pays an affiliate (you) a commission for each sale referred by the affiliate. When you tell your friends and followers about our site, and one of them signs up, we give you a portion of the money. It does not cost you or your friend anything extra.
You will be provided with a personalized link to share with your friends. Any person that clicks your link and purchases a membership is considered to be referred by you.
If you are already a member of Elegant Literature, you will automatically be an affiliate. When logged in to ElegantLiterature.com, under the My Account dropdown menu, select the option for Affiliate Dashboard. You can also click the login button on the top right of this page. If you are new, you may need to wait up to 24 hours from registering your account before gaining access.
If you are not a member, simply click the button “Become our Partner” on the affiliate home page and fill out the form to register.
Anyone can be an affiliate.
You do not need to be a member of Elegant Literature in order to refer your friends and followers.
No, becoming an affiliate is totally free. In fact, we pay you!
Your friends and followers will not pay anything extra by using your referral link.
How does payment work?
Your earnings depend on how many people you refer. You’ll earn 10% of the total sales you generate every month, which works out to about one dollar per person per month.
For example, if you refer 10 people, we pay you $10 every month for as long as they remain members. This would effectively make your membership free.
If you have a large following and refer 1000 people, we will pay you $1000, per month, for as long as your referrals remain members.
If you have a large following of writers, it is possible to earn a full monthly income with our program.
A parent affiliate is someone whose referral goes on to become an affiliate themselves. The parent will earn 5% of every sale the child affiliate makes.
For example, if you refer 10 people, and one of them becomes an affiliate and also refers 10 people, you will earn approximately $15/month.
You will be paid via PayPal. We pay our affiliates on the 15th of every month.
Sales are tracked using cookies. When a customer clicks your personalized link they are directed to our website with a cookie attached. If they make a purchase the cookie notices and attributes that purchase to your affiliate account.
We use a last-touch approach, and track cookies for 30 days.
Last touch means the last affiliate link a user clicked on. If a user clicks an affiliate link and does not purchase anything, but a few days later clicks a different affiliate’s link and makes a purchase, the last link clicked will be the affiliate who earns the commission.
You must wait 30 days after a referral makes a purchase before getting paid. This is to ensure the customers payment to Elegant Literature is valid, gets processed properly, and does not get refunded. The Estimated Next Payout will show all commission earned that has passed the 30 day mark.
Yes, really. It will be easier for Influencers with existing audiences, but anyone can get there with enough dedication.
I signed up, what now?
If you would like to refer friends, the best way to do it is go to your Affiliate Dashboard and copy your affiliate link (it’s at the top of the page). You can share that with your friends via email or social media.
It is best to include a personal note and explanation of what Elegant Literature is and why they would be interested.
If you have a larger following and host your own content on the web, we have provided some resources to make sales easy.
From the Affiliate Dashboard, navigate to the Links and Banners tab. There you can find html links and digital banners to display on your website.
The best way to earn commission is by writing a post or blog article explaining what Elegant Literature is and why your audience would like it. Include the links and banners in your article so your followers can click through and sign up.
The better your post, the more traffic it will receive and the more people will click through to sign up. This results in more monthly income for you.
The best thing to do is use existing content from our website. We give all our affiliates permission to reuse any wording found on the following pages: Contest, How It Works, and FAQ, providing they do not alter the context to misrepresent Elegant Literature.

While signed in to your Affiliate Dashboard, go directly to elegantliterature.com/register and choose a membership level. Register as normal.
