About Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki

Oghenechovwe is a speculative fiction writer, editor, & publisher from Nigeria. He is a Nebula, Nommo, Otherwise WFA, Locus, & BFA winner & a Hugo, Sturgeon, BSFA & NAACP Image award finalist.

His works have appeared in Asimov’s, F & SF, Uncanny Magazine, Tordotcom, Galaxy’s Edge, and others. He edited the first ever Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction anthology, the Bridging Worlds anthology & co-edited the Dominion and Africa Risen anthologies. He was a guest of honour at CanCon and the Afrofuturism-themed ICFA 44, where he coined a new term/genre label, Afropantheology.
