Revising Your Revision Process

Class being rescheduled.

About This Training

In this workshop, we’ll explore different approaches to revising short and novel-length fiction depending on your style and what stage of revision you’re at, with the goal of building on your current practice to help you revise more efficiently (and hopefully have a little more fun doing it). Please bring a first draft of either a complete short story, or an excerpt from a complete manuscript — rough and ready is just fine!

About Jaq Evans

Jaq Evans is a speculative fiction and horror author based out of Richmond, Virginia who also does digital stuff for climate nonprofit 350.org.

She grew up running feral in the Blue Ridge foothills, then spent over a decade in a state that’s famously bleak and spooky—and frankly, it shows.

Jaq earned an MFA in Popular Fiction from Stonecoast (University of Southern Maine). You can find their debut novel, WHAT GROWS IN THE DARK, out now from MIRA / HarperCollins.
